Don’t weddings seem to come in waves? There are none for a while, and then suddenly you’re filling out a stack of RSVPs because your friend, your sister, your niece are all getting married at once.

While it’s not a struggle to find a nice wedding gift, presents for lingerie showers or bachelorette parties can be challenging. So many ideas seem cheesy or outdated, even crude. If you’re looking for something that’s chic, modern, and bridal-level special, consider this your shopping list.

1. Washable Silk

Yes, that’s a thing now! Not everyone likes lace, but who doesn’t like to look good and feel comfortable at the same time? Lunya has a clean modern look, and you can toss their silk pieces right into the washing machine - but they’re not cheap.

If you’re in last-minute rush, head to your closest store (check here!) and pick something up - but skip the typical pajamas in favor of a lace-trimmed chemise or romper.

3. A Sleep Mask

For the past few years, I’ve worn a sleep mask every night - it’s one of the things that helped me get back to better sleep! I also pack them for overnight flights and all my trips, which means I’ve lost a couple along the way.

All of mine have come from this Etsy shop, which has options from Breakfast at Tiffany’s eyelashes to monograms to “wake me for champagne” (all under $20). For a simpler style, try SlipSilk’s classic mask or this cozy cashmere one.

4. My Favorite Lace Bra

I’m a longtime customer of True & Co, and I recently bought my fourth Gramercy Balconette bra. It’s light, easy to wear, and comes in a handful of colors - plus I’ve never paid the full $64 price because they’re always running sales!

People also rave about the True Body line, and there are honestly so many good choices that a gift card to True & Co is not a bad idea. 5. A Nice Robe

6. Lingerie Cases

It seems like we’ve collectively forgotten that lingerie cases exist, but they’re one of my favorite bridal gifts to give. Not only is it fancy - a pretty bag exclusively for your pretty lingerie - it’s also practical for packing and organizing. Seven years later, I still use mine on every single trip (thank you, Nana!).

There are so many options available, and lots of them are on Etsy. Just a sampling: antique french lace, custom monogram, natural linen. You’ll have to hunt a bit more to find them in shops, but I love this casual black-and-white one ($15) and these custom silk-and-monogram ones (starting at $75).
